There are a number of races in the Era universe, and they are categorized as Ancient, Elemental, Fiendish, Mortal or Spiritual.

Many of the races were created as part of an ongoing competition between the 7 gods of creation to see who could create the more interesting and advanced civilization.

The only races native to Era are the Dragons, Elves, Humans, Goblins and Fairies, many of the other races come from the planet but from surrounding planets that were ravaged by the Cosmic Cataclysm.

Ancients

The Ancients predate modern Mortal civilization and include the Dragons, Devils, Fae, Gods and Primals. The remaining categories are descendants from these 4 ancient races. There may have been more ancient races but have been lost to time.

Dragons

The dragons are the only Ancients that can produce offspring as they are not a progenitor race but actually a descendant of the Fae.
